Our take on the Power 1000 V2
- Who it suits
- Consider the DJI Power 1000 V2 if you need 2,600 W continuous output.
- Who should skip it
- Skip it if you need a published surge figure; DJI states only 2,600 W continuous output.
- Closest alternative
- The Anker SOLIX C1000 Gen 2 lists 3,000 W peak and weighs 24.9 lb versus DJI's 31.3 lb; DJI offers higher continuous output (2,600 W versus 2,000 W).
Good for
- A 2,600 W continuous AC output rating.
- Expansion to 11,264 Wh with DJI Power Expansion Battery 2000 units.
Not for
- A 240 V well pump; the US model supplies 100 to 120 V.
- A 1,800 W solar setup without separately sold accessories.
Before you buy
- We show the manual's app-enabled 1,800 W Super Recharging; a product footnote states 1,440 W.
- The 1,800 W solar input needs three separately sold parts: the 1.8kW Solar/Car Super Fast Charger, XT90 to MC4 cable and expansion battery.
- The separately sold DJI Power 1kW Super Fast Car Charger allows 1,000 W; another car adapter allows 100 W.
- DJI's 5-year warranty excludes certain accessories.
Measured by others
Figures other outlets published from their own tests of the Power 1000 V2, credited by name. Methods differ between outlets, so read each figure with its stated conditions.
- Usable capacity: about 80% of rated capacity, just over four hours at about 195 W (two runs from 100% to 0%; output type not stated; the reviewer says DJI sent the unit). Reported by DroneXL, January 2026.

What the Power 1000 V2 can run
Estimated runtime on a full charge with one appliance plugged in. We assume 80% to 90% of the rated 1,024 Wh reaches the appliance. The start-up check compares each appliance's published start-up figure (volts times starting amps, in VA) with the stated surge rating. At small loads the station's own idle draw takes a large share, so actual runtime can fall well below the range.

Medical devices. A rating check is not medical advice; here is what device makers and the FDA say.
- CPAP without humidifier (ResMed AirSense 10/11 class): FDA: ask your device maker or supplier whether the device can run on batteries or a generator, and check settings after power returns. If the device is life-sustaining, seek emergency help. ResMed battery guide: it strongly recommends a ResMed DC-to-DC converter over a DC-to-AC inverter when running from a battery.
- CPAP with heated humidifier (ResMed AirSense 11 / 10): FDA: ask your device maker or supplier whether the device can run on batteries or a generator, and check settings after power returns. ResMed battery guide: it strongly recommends a ResMed DC-to-DC converter over a DC-to-AC inverter when running from a battery.
- Travel CPAP (ResMed AirMini): FDA: confirm with the maker or supplier that battery or generator power is suitable for your device.
- Home oxygen concentrator (5 LPM): FDA: ask the maker or supplier whether it can run on batteries or a generator, and use battery-powered lights rather than gas lights or torches when oxygen is in use. Seek emergency help if the device is life-sustaining.
- Nebulizer (compressor type), Power wheelchair or scooter charger (24 V, 8 A): FDA: ask your device maker or supplier whether the device can run on batteries or a generator, and check settings after power returns. If the device is life-sustaining, seek emergency help.
